Meet Team Dunn

Get to know the founders of Team Dunn, Jenny and Matt. With certifications as qualified personal trainers, ongoing CPD education and Jenny also a certified yoga teacher, they bring a wealth of experience to help people lead happier and healthier lives. Discover more about them below.

Jenny

Jenny's real passion is in the natural world. Locally she volunteers for environmental and  conservation groups and is at her happiest swimming in the sea, bird watching or hiking.  She strongly believes in the mental health benefits of exercise, particularly when outside in nature. 

She has personal and professional experience working with those going through perimenopause/menopause and enjoys working with older adults, those with neuromuscular issues and injury rehabilitation. She takes pleasure in helping everyday people become more active, learn new skills, and feel mentally resilient and physically confident in their bodies.

Jenny began her career as a personal trainer in 2004 qualifying in YMCA and NACM level 3 in PT. She had further CPD qualifications in  Functional Range Conditioning, ILF Kettlebell training, Bulgarian Bag and has studied Pelvic floor dysfunction, and Hypermobility issues. Jenny has developed a wealth of expertise through continuing education and personal practice.

 

 

Matt

Matt is best described with three words: passionate, patient, and professional.

Today, Matt invests time and energy on his own fitness to enjoy a balanced and active life. Being strong makes riding bikes, outdoor swimming and hiking up mountains more fun! He doesn’t need to be fit for baking sourdough bread, fermenting food and reading sci-fi novels but he also enjoys doing these things in his spare time too!

With over 20 years of industry experience and specialized training in Functional Range Conditioning, IKF Advanced Kettlebells, Boxercise, and Bulgarian Bag training, Matt is a highly skilled fitness professional. His area of expertise is kettlebell training and joint health, and he is committed to helping people/you improve their/your strength, mobility, and overall energy levels. Matt's focus is on working with middle aged people, empowering them to live well as they age and he takes pride in helping them enhance their quality of life in all areas through exercise.
